Virtual Public Meeting 

The City of Newark, supported by the North Jersey Transportation Planning Authority (NJTPA), hosted a Virtual Public Meeting to inform local residents, officials, businesses, and the general public about proposed safety improvements on Bergen Street from Madison Avenue to 14th Avenue. The purpose of this Public Meeting was to share information on the project and solicit input on the corridor safety improvements.

This meeting was held virtually via Microsoft Teams on Thursday, April 25th from 6:00 to 7:00 PM with a slide presentation followed by a question-and-answer session. The meeting was conducted in conformance with Federal and State regulations and was open to all members of the public.

Written comments on the project may be made via the Project Comment Form through May 17, 2024.
